COMPOSITION: 1g contains
Clotrimazole USP……….1.0% w/w
Betamethasone Dipropionate USP eq. To Betamethasone……….. 0.05% w/w
Neomycin Sulphate USP eq. to Neomycin base ………… 0.5% w/w in a cream base.

PHARMACOLOGY

Neoskin Cream provides a comprehensive treatment for various inflammatory dermat-logical disorders superadded with bacterial and superficial fungal infections of the skin.

• Betamethasone is a highly active corticosteroid that controls symptoms such as untucking, redness and scaling.
• Neomycin is a broad spectrum antibiotic which exerts antibacterial activity.
• Clotrimazole is a broad spectrum synthetic antifungal agent which has fungicidal action against all fungi related infections of the skin.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formulation.

ADVERSE EFFECTS

Safe and well tolerated.

Rarely, some patients show mild to moderate irritation (erythema) that does not usually require discontinuance of treatment.

Other dermal symptoms: Long-term therapy may cause steroidal acne, steroidal skin (skin atrophy, telangiectasis) and changes of the skin such as thinning, purpura, hirsutism and hypopigmentation. Such symptoms may occur slowly, decrease the dosage of this drug and change to non-steroidal drugs.

• Not recommended for pregnant women or lactating mothers.

DOSAGE & APPLICATIONS

FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY

Apply to the affected area once to several times daily as directed by the Physician.

STORAGE/HANDLING RECOMMENDATIONS

• Store below 25°C in a cool dry place.
• Do not freeze.
• Keep the tube tightly closed after use.
• Keep the medicine out of reach of children.
