PHARMACOLOGY

Fluocinolone acetonide is a synthetic Corticosteroid which, when applied to the skin, has a more potent local anti- inflammatory action than hydrocortisone. Miconazole nitrate is an imidazole derivative of high potency against a wide range of commonly encountered fungi and possesses some antibacterial activity. Gentamicin Sulphate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with a spectrum of activity against staphylococci, streptococci and a wide range of Gram-negative bacteria, E. Coli.

INDICATIONS

SKIN GOLD cream is indicated for the topical treatment of the following dermaL infections: tinea pedis, tinea Cruris and tinea corporis due to Trichophyton rubrum, Tricophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum, and Microporum canis; candidiasis due to Candida albicans; particularly those accompanied by local inflammation and/or pruritus, and bacterial infections.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS

SKIN GOLD is contra-indicated in those patients who have shown hypersensitivity to Miconazole, Fluocinolone, or Gentamicin.

DOSAGE & APPLICATIONS

FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY

Wash and dry the affected area. SKIN GOLD should be applied gently into the affected area twice or thrice daily for up to 3 to 6 weeks.

• Do not store above 30°C.
• Do not freeze.
• Protect from light.
• Keep the medicine out of reach of children.
